I am a new owner of a 1984 vette which I have learned was a rough year for overheating problems. I was recently told about an air collection shroud under the front end that was used to direct more air to the radiator/condenser. I was told it was stock on this car but was not on mine when I bought it. Does anyone out there know about this? Don't know what it's called so I don't know how to search for it.

I use the stock one on my 96 Vette but if you are having overheating problems they make an aftermarket one that has a bigger scoop that draws more air in...

The stock ones are black, do you have one on your Vette?
Is your Vette overheating?
