Question: Air Intake

What do you guys prefer for an aftermarket intake? Im looking at the SLP "claw" intake or maybe just the KNN air filter, but I am not sure what is better.
Anyone have any experience?
I want performance (as much as I can get with an intake).
Are there any other intakes on the market?

This site has seen this hundreds of times but I wanted to see current suggestions. Thanks Everyone!

I've had the K&N for 4 yrs and I'm happy with it but, I did add muffler eliminators and that made a noticable difference (if you're gonna' let more air in, you gotta let more air out!)

Does anyone else have an SLP or KNN, and do they make an annoying wistling noise?
Any gains in HP or MPGs?

RUN A REGULAR...

I am not a fan of the k and n, have used in past but not this time, just run a regular paper filter with an increase in the slots in the air cleaner housing that I had cut into it...it runs nice...hp gain...not sure but sounds nice...also run muffler eliminators, new injectors by linder, adjustable fuel regulator, new fuel pump and other assorted goodies...but no major internals ....puppyfang

If you want the best air flow filter look at amsoil nano fiber best flow and best air filtration amsoil has a lot of good stuff i like the stuff so much i sign up to be a dealer look around your area for your amsoil dealer there air filter are cheaper then K and N filter and better
