Hey guys (and gals)....The last four or five times I've had the Corvette out I've noticed a little wind whistle coming from the top back corner of the drivers side window. I've looked at the weatherstrip and it looks OK, not torn or any pieces missing, just a small gap where maybe the foam is compressed a little and not making full contact.

Any suggestions on what can be done to "puff" it up.....short of buying new weather strip?

Something to try is to increase the amount of tilt-in on the window itself. The adjustment is easy and outlined very well in the FSM.

Good Luck!!

Jim, I have my FSM, I'll do some searching. I had a phone conversation with an "expert" (who shall remain nameless) who said the same thing and gave me a couple other things to look at/try as well.

Thanks for the help!

Lubricate the weather striping with the proper silicon (I think) lubricant and see if that helps.

I've used the dielectric grease like the 94 FSM says to use (I hope that they didn't change for 01) but still have the wind noise. Thanks for the suggestion.
