Airbox change

Hello all:
I recently changed out the stock exhaust on my 2000 and would like to change the stock intake with an Air Force box but don't want to mess anything up. Apparantly there are no aftermarket manuals for this model yet such as Chiltons, etc. Does anyone know a link to instructions for completing this job? Thanks.

Nope

No directions at all. It's the Blackwing and it came with info concerning the product and expected performance improvement, but no installation instructions.

the install was really quite easy. you pretty much just need remove the old box and slap the blackwing in it's place. i think the hardest part was aligning the blackwing with the grommets. if you have problems, let me know, and i can e-mail you some pics of the finished job, that may help some. also, once you get the stock stuff out of there, it'll make a lot more sense to you. i still think that donaldson should supply some basic instructions. good luck with it.

Many thanks, I'll take a shot at it tomorrow. Do you know of any manuals out on the C-5?

the only manual i know of for the c5 is the official shop manual. it's a 3 volume set and runs about 150 bucks. i couldn't seem to find a chiltons or haynes, but i haven't looked too hard.

Got the job done thanks to you sigshooter, and coupled with the new Borla quads it was a great improvement. Sounds beautiful with a large breath of fresh air.
