Hi,
I have done the tips & tricks with K&N Air Filter and open Air Filter lid. I passed it over from my old 1995 LT1. I also have the Power Now Inlet Fairing (AirFoil than mounts in the intake plenum). I´m not shure if it will do any good on the LT4.

It´s more fun with a manual 6 speed !!

Best regards,
Christer

Welcome to the CAC:D. The air foil won't help you much at all but if you already have one, I'd put it on. It just smoothes the incoming air for a little better flow.

Sure it helps out. If you have the type that uses a screw to hold it in place, the screw can come loose, get ingested into the motor then you may need a rebuild or just head work only. Then at that point you can do the mods like CNC heads or new over sized pistons. so you will get a HP gain. :L

I'm laughing of course but this has really happened to some.
Not worth it in my book. There's a reason you can find these things for sale used. plus if you upgrade the TB, the BBK and other have a built in air foil already. I've seen some people post that they saw no gains after dyno testing or 1/4 runs.
