Hello, I have a problem with my alarms she put herself in road. I will want to know how can one to set in motion the alarms. Because mine did not work and all of a blow she put herself in road therefore I have of the to disconnect the battery. I will have wanted to know if there was a switch or a button. This is a Corvette 1981

Hi Bruno,
On my 78, I can activate, or turn it off, by using the driver door key unlocking/locking the door. I haven't used it in a long time, so I don't know if it still works or not. Good luck with yours...

What exactly is the problem?
Is it going off and you don't know how to turn it off? Do you need to keep it disconnected and don't know which wires control the alarm? Is it disconnected and you need to connect it?

Bruno,

It's difficult to understand what exactly is the problem with your car alarm. If you could get someone to format your questions in more correct grammer, that would help greatly. Not complaining, just want to help by understanding your problems.

You might be able to just pull out the fuse for the alarm circuit, but that might also cause some other accessories to no longer function, if they are on the same circuit.

Bruno,

Bruno81,

If the alarm comes on during driving, esp. when on rough roads, it sounds to me like there is a short to ground in your alarm system, or the arming relay is bad.

How far are you from:
Location:
Paris, Ile de France, France
Corvette:
1981 Silver & Dark Blue

We have 2 other members in France, evariste may be able to help. Go to the Members List at the top of the page and click then enter evariste and post him an Email, I'm sure if he can help he would be happy too or provide a bit more information.
