Thanks. I did hear about the Anchorage Club and have casually been followed their events via their website. So far, none of their events have conincided with a time when I was available to participate. It will be a great drive when I get a chance, but its more than 700 miles round trip from here and would be more relaxing over a long weekend than just a Sat./Sun.

Lived in North Pole for over 30 yrs and drove a C5 for 7 of those. We enjoyed driving down the Parks Highway to Denali and watching the tourists as we went past them. We're now living in Washington state and hope to drive ours more than we did there.

Ours was always garaged during the winter months and I think you'd be better off trying to find warm storage for your investment rather than throwing a blue tarp over it from mid-September to mid-May.
