ALDL data lines?

I'm trying to install a cable to send serial data from the ALDL to my laptop. I bought a semi-DIY from WOT Electronics, but his directions don't quite line up with my car.

Simple question: Which wire (A-M) carries the serial data stream on an 86 Vette? His directions say that for all but 88/89, it's terminal M. I have no wire in that spot...

Took a quick look through the service manual but couldn't find anything on the ALDL.

Mart, I haven't built that one but I did buy a semi-kit from WOT Electronics. He sells everything from just the parts to a complete cable. I bought one that was assembled and needed soldering into my system (it avoids having to "shell out" for the molded ALDL shell). I'm happy so far... it does work.
