I have recently put factory side exhaust on my 72 to replace the rotten standard system and it appears the camber has changed on all 4 wheels. The stanard exhaust weighed about 60 lbs or so. Does dropping that much weigh cause alignment angles to change on my Vette?

I wouldn't think it would have much effect if any at all. Are you baseing this assumption on just an eyeball evaluation of the angle of the wheels?

It's probably just sitting high from having the weight off the wheels. Drive it for a while and let the springs settle. You would have to mess with the shims on the A-arms for it to change the camber at all.

You didn't drop the 60# - the sidepipe system weighs just about the same when you add in the covers and insulation; there's so little difference between the two systems, it isn't even listed in the AMA weight tables as an option that creates any weight difference, either (+) or (-). The swap had no effect at all on your camber settings.

I thought the shims are for toe?
Toe in/out is adjusted with the tie rod sleeves.

FRONT camber is shims and toe is tie rod sleeves; REAR camber is eccentric bolts at the inboard end of the strut rods, and toe is shims at the front trailing arm bushing.
