It's been a couple of years since I've been on a "forum" site and things have certainly changed! It will take me a while to learn my way around, but in the meantime, I am in need of some information on wheel alignment specs. My ole'76 needs to be re-aimed and I remember reading somewhere (either in Corvette Fever or Vette magazines) about the best alignment specs for street use. They were different than what were used at most shops. But now that I need them I can't seem to find them...can anybody help? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Hi there, Kek and welcome to the CAC. Here's some specs that I pulled out of my VB&P catalog. This is with stock suspension, I suppose.

Daily Street Alignment

  • Front Toe: 1/32 in.
  • Front Camber: 0 degrees negative
  • Front Caster: 2.75 degrees positive
  • Rear Toe: 1/8 in.
  • Rear Camber: 0 degrees negative

For Advanced Street Alignment:

  • Front Toe: 0 inches
  • Front Camber: 1/4 degree negative
  • Front Caster: 2.75 degrees positive
  • Rear Toe: 1/8 in.
  • Rear Camber: 1/2 degree negative

Thanks a ton...those do look familiar. I'll thank Vette Brakes & P the next time I buy something from them. I really do appreciate your help and I know the "ole girl" will too.
