I'm sure I can look up the factory alignment specs, but those aren't always the best, in all cases.

So, would anyone recommend non-factory alignment specs for any items?

And, if so, what would you recommend?

Also, I'm rebuilding my front end right now. I won't be doing the rear for a few months, probably. Should I just do a front end alignment, then align the rear when I rebuild it, or should I do a total alignment, right now, and then re-align the rear when I rebuild it?

Thanks,
Joe

Go to the VB&P website they have a section for installation help and an area for alignment specs, stock, modified street, slalom etc. I used the modified street specs seems to make the most sense for my car. 460# GT front springs,330# composite rear mono spring & 4 Bilstein shocks. Hope this helps you.

Thanks, that was helpful. For anyone else reading, the page is: http://www.vettebrakes.com/align.htm

It seems from their page that alignment should be something like this, on my car:

Front:
Toe: inward 1/32" per wheel
Camber: -0.25 degrees
Caster: +2.75 degrees

Rear:
Toe: inward 1/16" per wheel
Camber: -0.25 degrees

That's sort of a combo of their "street" and "advanced street" settings.

I'm not overly worried about tire wear, so I leaned toward the "advanced street" settings, but my suspension is still essentially stock (as far as I know), so I kept things on the conservative side, and upped the front toe-in to 1/32" from 1/64", since we have some pretty rough roads up here.
