Help! Aluminum Drive Shaft on a 2001 Corvette

Well, I guess no body had any problem with their drive shaft before. I'm attempting to do the job right now. And it seems like I have to drop
the rear suspension and the tranny together to get to the drive shaft. Will keep you guys posted.

I think you are referring to the torque tube that the drive shaft resides in. If so, yes to remove the torque tube the rear crade, including the rear differential and transmission and some rear suspension components need to be dropped. The torque tube, transmission, differential, and rear sub frame with suspension components drop out as a single unit, and yes it is a big job, a hoist and transmission jack are highly recommended along with the FSM. Drive shaft issues with C5 are not common unless the powertrain is heavily modified. Good luck with it. :)

Thanks LLC5 for the respond, well today, I started to work on it, I was able to lower the sub frame with the tranmission and the aluminum tube, I will separate the front and the engine tomorrow, I will post pictures..Thanks Again..:happyanim::happyanim::happyanim:
