aluminum intake repairs

Ok I hope I am not wearing out my welcome here. I have an aluminum intake manifold on my car.It has a slight crack on one of the bolt ears.I have looked high and low for a better one but they all seemed to be cracked or repaired allready,can any one recomend a place I could have mine repaired and then reskinned?

Larry, both PJ67 and JohnZ mentioned someone who repaired & reskinned aluminum intakes but I can't recall the name... it was John Neish (spelling?) or something like that. Maybe they'll pick up on this thread and say for sure.

Yup, Jerry MacNeish, www.z28camaro.com - in Eldersburg, Maryland. Does fabulous heli-arc aluminum repairs and re-machining, and "re-skins" both aluminum and cast iron. Here's a photo of my "re-skinned" 34-year-old Z/28 intake and valve covers (Jerry rebuilt/restored the very rare #4053 Holley also, and did the alternator, A.I.R. pump, and booster too).

WOW that is a well detailed engine bay! that is what I admire and enjoy when looking at a car.That is my ultimate goal with my 1966 to make it look as new from the factory

Well another new project to do this weekend,Thanks you guys I have been incontact with Jerry and I have to remove the manifold on sunday and get it out to him.Now might be a good time to get the driveshafts out to quanta while the car is laid up.I really wish I could of done this during the winter

JohnZ, are those pictures of your Z28? If so, why does it have Vette valve covers?? I thought your zapper was all original!!!
