Last year at Sebring there was a Corvette corral sponser by the museum and GM. It was a first time deal (Porsche and Audi also have their areas) It was terrific. Great location, big tent, food, driver meet and great, etc. Does anyone know if this will be done again and where do we get tix?

That's a shame they're not going to be at Road Atlanta in April :cry
I guess that's another reason for me to go to Sebring in March.

I agree... I am making plans for Sebring as well...

By the way, anyone know when the 24 hrs. of LeMans is for 2006??

I am assuming June again, as there is a "break" in their American LeMans Series schedule...

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is always the 24th Saturday of the year which always falls in June, as close to the summer solstice as possible to maximize daylight for the race.

Steve,

Thanks for the answer!! It makes sense.... :)
I am looking forward to seeing the C6-R's race again next year, but through the winter, I can watch the recorded 2005 races again, and update my website some more with new C6-R race info!!

Bill,

I'd give the NCM a call and see if they know anything.

Dwayne

Dwayne,

Did you find out if they were going to have the Corall at Sebring? Thanks.

Kevin

Kevin - I just spoke with Roc Linkov @ the NCM.

Roc said he would respond to this thread and shine some light on what's in the works for Corvette Corals per the 2006 Corvette Racing season.

I went to Mid Ohio with the Corvette Corral last year and hope to go again this year.

As many know, the NCM supported the Chevrolet Presents Corvette Corrals at the ALMS races in 2004 & 2005. We are fully committed to supporting the C6.R race team again in 2006. Since the corrals are arranged through Corvette Marketing and involve a number of organizations working together, we have to wait for all the groups involved to make their decisions. Once we hear from Corvette Marketing, we will post the information and details on the corrals. Best way to get the news quickly is by signing on to NCM eNews, our once a week news bulletin. We should have some firm information by the beginning of January.

Thanks. I will keep everyone posted on the corral information as it becomes available. we have the NCM Board here for 2 days and that has been the subject of discussion with the Corvette Marketing Manager who sits on the board.
