My 84 CS has a hard time starting when the engine is cold, cranks several times and nothing, when I try again it cranks several more times but finally starts.
When I start it after it ran for a while and the engine is warm the car starts like a champ, could it be the temp sensor that is messed up?:confused

Your fuel pump is probably going bad. Remove your air cleaner so you can see the injectors. Watch for fuel spray as you crank the engine. You should get spray right away, but if you don't get spray until you crank a while, the check valves in your fuel pump aren't holding pressure like they should.

Try waiting for about 10 seconds after you turn on the ignition before cranking. This will let the fuel pump come up to pressure.
