Another 93 opti question

I have become painfully aware of the Opti problems on the 93-94 vettes although mine is still working I have an oil leak around that area and am going to have to fix it at some point.So I plan on upgrading the cap a vented design I have read some good explainations on this including

What I want to know is which year opti cap will I need and are they compatible between Camaro and Vett LT1's and what about a whole opti upgrade to post 94 will it be plug and play?

About your question, you can retrofit your non-vented cap to a 95-96 but I have never done it. There are other threads here in the CAC that can help you on this project
