Another Door Panel Problem

Both of my door panels have poped out at the top right under the defroster vents on my '86. The door panels themselves are in excellent shape so I really don't want to take them appart. The plastic defroster vents are also cracked. Any easy fixes?

There is a service bulletin for the door trim panel coming loose at the top. Here is the link to the bulletin on this site (CAC) http://corvetteactioncenter.com/kb/question.php?qstId=156. Basically it is an "L" bracket that goes inside the panel at the top to hold it on. I put them on my 85 coupe and the top hasn't popped off since. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply mdsbch but that is not where I am having the problem. The service bulletin says if the door panel is coming loose at the rear of the door. Mine poped out towards the front of the door just under the defroster vents on both sides.
