Well, I've asked a lot of questions about my heater core project, so here's another one.

I'm in the process of replacing the flapper seals in the assembly. The directions say to use a good quality adhesive to affix the gasket to the big flapper door. I have a tube of Dynatex Super Weatherstrip & Gasket Adhesive (Part#49429) that I was planning on using. But, I'd imagine that the interior of the heater box assembly gets really hot. Should I use a "High Temp" compound instead? If that is needed can I use a "High Temp" gasket maker compound like a tube I have left over from when I replaced my valve cover gaskets?
