Well here is Another fuel pump Question.
My 95 LT-1 has had 4 (four) New pumps in the last 3 months.
The dealership keeps putting in NEW pumps. The Mech says that's all he can find. Well the Service manager knows me by Name. (bad thing)
MY question to ALL is, Could this be some sort of Computer chip issue??
I have read several posts on different forums about this problem, but NOBODY has brought up the issue of IT being A Chip.
I know the ASR has some input, but that is working fine. The Service manager himself checked the fuel pressure at the engine, and only 9#.
Is there anything between the tank and the pressure test port that could be affecting the pump. Fuel filter is NEW. There is alot of questions here.
Just a side NOTE
I said to the Service manager that I would pay for he and his wife for a week at Disney if he would take MY car, (can you quess his answer)
Thank you in Advance for any suggestion.

I have been hearing a lot about replacement feul pumps failing on other GM vehicles. Maybe just haveing bad luck with replacements ?

I think you need to find the real problem! My orginal fuel pump lasted 12 years and 195k miles. Those pumps wear like iron, they're very simple, why do you think GM (who only changes because it's a cheaper way) went to them. Look at the Ractronic page on walbro pump and wiring upgrade. You might get some ideas.
