Another New Dash Warped...

This is the second dash I had put in and it just does not fit right. I bought it new from Corvette America since they are the only people that seem to make dashes. When I got it back the guy said this dash was crap and did not fit right but they did the best that was possible. Its in tight and everything but the speaker grills are sinking once again and it looks like the same spots that warped on the last dash are going to warp again. Another 500.00 for the dash and labor money gone.

Nope, sorry to hear about your dash. I chose to dye my old one it has a few small cracks in the speakers but is good enough for a driver. Did you say two bad ones?

Three if you count the orignal cracked to hell dash thats beyond all repair.

You might want to do a search for a company called Just Dashes. I sent my 82s dash out to them in 2000 and they redid all the padding & vinyl and dyed it to the original dark red for around $400.
