Can you lower the antennae on a C5 whithout turning it off?
I would like it down when I play CDs

I believe the antenna mast is tied to power in the stereo. When the stereo is on, regardless of whether your listening to a radio station vs. a CD or something from an I-Pod (if you've made a modification for an I-Pod), or what volume you're listening at, the antenna will be up. I don't think there's a way to change that- at least none I'm aware of.

There is a bypass switch you can install to keep your antenna down even when the radio is powered on. You can find it at the usual suspects: Corvette Central, Mid American and so on.
