Question: Any way to know if a car has been tuned/flashed?

Is there any way to know if someone used a Diablosport or HP tuner or any type of tuner on a car w/out having a tuner? My automatic is having shifting issues, I think the previous owner might have messed with the shift points.

No way to check without getting a look at the tune and you will need some hardware/software to do that.

The best thing is to take it to a dealer and have it flashed with current GM tune and all upgrades. If it was tuned and locked before they will be able to tell you and it should cost no more than $100.

A good technician with a Tech 2, can see the changes, and the calibration numbers would be changed.
