2000 Lt. Pewter Coupe
I just purchased a 2000 Lt. Pewter coupe and want to have it detailed right. I am unable to do it myself for a variety of reasons and would like to have a detailer that really knows the product inside and out Zaino my car. From what I've read in this forum I would probably need multiple coats since this car is not garaged and will be used daily, but not as a daily driver. Are there any detailers that are very adept at using this product in the Rockland County, NY or Orange County, NY or Bergen County, NJ areas? I would like to contact one of them.

Disappointed but I'll get over it.

I guess I'm beating a dead horse looking for a place to PROPERLY Zaino my coupe. I even called Zaino HQ and they said they DO NOT maintain any lists of Zaino detailers. They simply manufacture the product and make recommendations for how to apply it. They did tell me to be VERY CAREFUL about who I find to apply it because many detailers will not do it right and have a mind of their own as to how to apply it, not per the exacting recommendations of the Zaino manufacturer.
I'm not intending in any way to show this car. It's mine for fun. But I learned from the forums that Zaino, done properly, really makes for a beautiful finished product and I hoped to see it on my car. But I'll be content with whatever version of a detailing I can get once spring arrives, even if it's not Zaino.
Thanks everyone, I thought I'd be jumped on with several choices, but I guess this stuff is a pain in the butt and most detailers don't want to work with it.

I suspect most detailers don't want to work with a product that is rather expensive for a rather small amount of it. There's no pro sizing or pricing on Zaino that I'm aware of.

That said, what really makes a car look amazing is not the final protectant, but the prepwork done to the car. You could try to find a detailer who does good work, have them prep the car, and then you could Zaino it. It's a pretty easy product to use, and a Corvette is a pretty small car to wax. Just a thought. :)

Where do you live excactley.I live in rockland county new york.I have a detailer that is willing to do my car with it FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS TO THE TEE.

I have used ZAINO with spectacular results on a black car,and not such spectacular results on a light colored car. They way he figures it is that he will have 2 days labor in it to do it as I request and want to be paid for 2 days labor. His normall car detail inside and out with a slight buff and a hand wax runs me about 150.00 and he has about 4 hours in it so I figure he would want a minumum of around 400 for the job,You can see why not many folks are not using Zaino in there every day detailing shops,Who could afford the mutiple coats. Good luck and good luck with your new car.See you at Bear mountain this year
