Did you not like it because it was not all vettes? Because my bf would be going to any shows with me, a not all vette show would be of more interest to him. he is a huge chevy fan.robert82ce said:About 12 of us went up last year from Louisville, Kentucky. We wished we had stayed home. If I lived in Chicago or could drive there in about an hour I would go, but to fly there and stay at a hotel, not again. I talked to a couple of the vendors last year and they said the show use to be better. I would save my money and go to Carlisle, which I have been to now for 3 years in a row and I'm going again this year!
I would like to find another show similar to Carlisle, if anyone knows of one. I have been to Mid America's FunFest twice, which draws a lot of Corvettes, but there is nothing else to do. Plus there are no other venders there except for those selling products in the MA catalog. I get a charge looking through the different piles hoping to find something I been looking for.
Oh well........that's my opinion.

I will add to this, If I was planning to go there to do something else like see family or friends, go shopping, etc.... in addition to the show I would go back, but just for the show no. We were done and ready to go in about 4 hours. I walked through the vendors about three or four times and looked at the show cars at least twice. Considering it is advertised as the "Largest" indoor Chevy show, I was expecting it to take all day. We have indoor swap meets and car shows here in Louisville that take all day. We're talking Chicago here.
