Hello all,
Winter is here and so that means garage projects on the vette. Clean, Polish a little, do touch ups.... fun
I was wondering if anyone has touched up, improved or restored their shifter console.
This would be on the later year C4s... 92 to 96 at least, and would be for the manual transmission folks.
My interior is immaculate.
However the shifter console surround piece is the only piece that shows a little wear.... kinda funny.
The material seems almost like rubber.
It is easily marked/scratched and seems to show more wear than the dash material.
Has anyone used a rubber type paint, sealing product { that lasts } or such to convert the material to a more durable/attractive finish ?
I was thinking about trying something... save a buck... or just buying the piece... they run about 150.00 it seems.
Thanks all
