I purchased it and applied it to my car back in June right after purchase. I loved it and it has kept my girl beautiful. I especially like the way it makes the finish feel - slick as glass. Haven't had to wax or re-apply since then, just wash and dry it every so often to keep it shiny.

But I've noticed no one here ever mentions it, and I'm curious if others have tried it and didn't like it, or if no one was interested in trying it in the first place.

:w Jag,

Where do you get this stuff?? I've used Klause for years, I'ved tried most everything else, but end up going back to Klause.

I like to try other stuff, on my pickup first ;) then ma's car then Rare :)

Thanks
Bud

I originally came across a link on one of the Top 100 Corvette sites. After reading up on the stuff I decided to try it. It's expensive, the kit I bought was for 1 application and cost $60-$80. And when I got it, I thought no way it would do my entire car, but it goes on sparingly, and the result is amazing. As I said, I've done nothing but wash and dry her since. And she never gets as dirty between washings as my C4 did.

Read up on it and let me know what you think.

And something else too... I'm not fighting swirl marks like I did with my C4.

I use Klasse love that stuff.

Beautiful!!!
How often do you apply it?

Thanks, I apply it every couple weeks I like the way the paint feels after you apply it slick as glass.:)

Got to have it!!!!!!

What is this stuff I want some! Can you send me a link of a supplier for this. Is it just a one time application or once a year or what? Black is awesome when it's clean, but that is just usually in my driveway right after I wash it. This evidently is more than a wax; is it a sealer of some kind?

Thanks,
Bill :w

Hi Bill.
The 5 Star Shine I bought off the internet, 5starshine.com and they recommend you re-apply after 3 years.

The Klasse I've never tried. BOOPSC5 is beautiful, but they say they re-apply it every other week so I don't like that.

BTW I briefly considered buying a black Corvette because I've always loved the color (or lack of it ;) ) but I knew it would be a constant battle to keep it clean. I've always been partial to red Corvettes so I was glad I found my Carmine Red. And the 5 Star Shine keeps it looking like BOOPSC5 longer than anything else I've tried.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info and I will check it out ASAP. I am not going to wax mine every other week that is for sure. I like it clean and shinning, but I also want to drive it and take a few trips in it. I will check out the 5 Star Shine. I don't have time to wax mine but maybe once or twice a year. Black is beautiful but impossible to keep it that way no matter what. I want to take care of it but I am not going to kill myself, gettting too old for that crap! :Steer I live to drive and drive to live!!!!:v

Thanks MY Man,
Bill :w

Hey guys they don't tell you to do it every couple of weeks I just do it because I like the look. go to Autogeek.net

and it is a Sealant glaze that you can apply anytime you want.

Thanks for your comments on my car that was nice.:)

BOOPSC-5,

:upthumbs She looks mighty fine too! Wish I had the time to do mine that often but I don't, I am like RAIN wish someone would come out here and detail mine for me. I really like cleaning it but it takes me all day and I just don't seem to have that much time to do it over once or twice a season.
Are you going to make it to the 2005 :CAC Cruise Fest at Bowling Green?
Yours sure shines like a new penny for sure, black is still my favorite color even though it is impossible to keep clean, but when it is there is nothing finer!!!!! I love cleaning it and waxing it, but I love driving it better!

Bill :w

Mine too; the afternoon would work for me after you get Rains pair done, or does he just what the black one done?
Rain you got a :_rock pair of choice looking Vettes my man! I like the black one better but I may be partial some! When are we going to be able to hear a live performace? Do you drive both of the Vettes or is one the little ladies?

still not sure if Im coming or not.. will be a last minute thing.

Black is so hard to keep clean.
drove it to the garage for inspection sticker yesterday and it looked filthy!

then road tripped into south central Alabama to take a fella my spare set of used runflats..
he had a blow out and needed one - I sold him both
Car was REALLY dirty by then.. so I found a car wash fast!

As long as we are all complaining, why do you guys bring up a new (to me) wax just after I ordered Zaino? It is supposed to arrive on Monday. Now I’m wondering if there isn’t something better. Thanks a lot!;) By the way all of the cars look great.

Thanks Bill, I hate to say it but my husband dose my car half the time he is real anal about how my car and his Ford Lightning look we clean are toys once a week plus mine is a daily driver and so is his.I will have these real soon for my toy. what do you think?

the Aqua is Susan's. Blackie is mine.
But we might sell the C4 in a few months. We will wait and see.

Hard to schedule a baby sitter and take em both out..

Hope you can make it; but if not I understand. Your music is great, I have about worn out the CD, just kidding but it is GREAT! Did you take the run flats off your C-5? Do you still have run flats on your C-5 or the C-4? That is why I am a little leary taking a trip without a spare tire and etc. But that is becasue I have never went on a trip without these things!

Hope to see you in BG.
