I recieved 2 Corvette calenders (same one), a SWC lamp, a SWC phone, a Corvette hat, and 2 Corvette hard-cover books (different).

wow, sounds like you made out really well :)

I got a 1:18 size die-cast 1957 and I got a Corvette calender

I got my 66 Vette.

Well, I actually got that a couple of years ago, but my wife "insists" it is the gift that keeps on giving.....;LOL

Hi!

I received two hard cover Corvette books and a gift card to Borders Book Store for another Corvette Book.

Is there any recommendations of what Corvette book I should buy?

I got the BEST Christmas present ever! A 2001 Coupe! A4, quicksilver, with both roofs and other goodies.... I musta been a good boy this year!

Paul 67 - I love the Reserved Parking sign!
I got two Vette related books but best of all was a clock that has vintage Vettes in place of the numbers. One o'clock is a '53, Two is a '57, Three a
'58, Four a '63 SWC, Five a '67 L88, then on to the C3s through C5s. On the hour, the clock roars with the sound of each of the cars peeling away (5:00 is my fave!). No C6 Z06 though...
I also treated myself to a '66 NCRS judging guide and Nolan Adams' Vol 2. Lots of reading, but I'm retiring at the end of the year (this week, yippee!) and I'm looking forward to kicking back and pouring over the books and playing with the car (in addition to at least a years' worth of 'honey-dos' of course...)
Cheers!
Jeff

Received a Corvette hard back book. Covers all years. Is small and very thick with color pictures. Sadly, I already have it. Can have one for the car and one for in the house. Dalton Book Store, $10. special.
We have an Ollies store. Pa, NJ and Md, I believe, which has tons of hardbacks. They get different Corvette related ones at times. Kmart type but smaller.
Rec. 4 mini antique gas pumps to fill all the models.

The most obvious gift (that I'd appreciate) that anyone could give me would be "anything" corvette, but I have never received a single gift from anyone in the family associated with corvettes. Every year I have to go out and search for Corvette calendars after Christmas. I always expect at least one person to give me a calendar, and it never happens!

just ask for one! :)

my wife gave me Corvette calendars for the last two years ever since we got our '65.
this year money is really tight for us plus I've spent money on the car on fix-it projects and spurged for a few new tools and toolchest i needed so I told my wife the ONLY thing I wanted for a gift this year was another calendar so I got it :)

On the other hand, in previous years for the holidays, birthdays, etc she has come up with some cool Vette gifts such as finding original printed ad's from 1965 on the car and had them framed, die-cast models, etc all relating to our '65

I not only received Corvette related gifts, I also gave some. I bought myself the C6 exhaust port filler and received various shirts and hats from my wife. I also gave all three of my grandsons small car sets that I bought from the Museum. You have to get them started at a young age. I have a great story about my oldest grandson, who is now 8 years old. When he was 6 he took a small hotwheels Corvette to school for show and tell. The teacher said she really liked his toy car, he said "it is not a car, it is a Corvette". I think he will turn out just fine.

theres two ways to make sure you get what you want, the surest way is to buy them yourself and put "from Santa" or "from the Dogs" on it.
the other is to go to an internet site that sells what you want and print out the page with all the info and give it to them or leave it laying around.;LOL

My wife bought me Noland Adams restoration guide (autographed by Noland and with a personal handwritten note from him) and my daughter got me a subscription to Corvette Enthusiast so I can now read all of JohnZ's technical articles.

My wife gave me a Corvette cologne and deoderant set with a small red C5 in the box. Haven't taken a whiff of it yet. Just hope I don't end up smelling like motor oil and gasoline!! :L
My daughter gave my a Corvette calender!!!

After busting the bank on restoring the 63, my wife did manage to get me a couple of really nice Corvette items; my wife bought me the Danbary Mint 1954 "Nomad Corvette", a calander, and the first installment of the "Corvette" HO Scale model train...includes the track and generator etc.... My daughter got me the red Corvette Aftershave and a red C5 travel bag...

Got more then I expected.....

Well,

I got nice issues to my 66 c2 but not that much since I bought myself the vette this year. My wife is collecting antique barbie and bild lilli dolls and I bought one on us-ebay. I payed 1600 $ and the seller send us nothing. So x-mas was a little bit sad this year. Does anyone knows how I can start an issue against this fu..... person ?

hats, calanders and my wife always goes out to the garage and puts a big red bow on the 64. Has done this every year I have had it. think it has something to do with the fact I try to convince her this is an all year, every year present.
Yes she likes it to, but leans toward the c1's. Maybe someday, right after I hit the lottery. Happy Holidays to all of you
