Anyone interested in Pocket PC C6 themes?

Hey all,

Since I have nothing better to do while on vacation, the embargo has been lifted and I have a new Xmas toy (iPAQ Pocket PC), I am making some C6 themes for the "Today" screen on the little sucker. Anyone interested in these? Attached is the first...to install it, simply unzip the file to your "Pocket PC My Documents" folder, synch the PC, and pick the theme from the "Today" options.

Let me know if there is an interest in these...

It's quite easy... here's the process:
1. Download the zip file
2. Unzip the file with the .tsk extension (C5 Theme 1.tsk) to the "Pocket PC My Documents" folder on your desktop (or whatever name you gave this folder when you set up the iPaq).
3. Synch up your iPaq
4. On you iPaq go to Start - Settings- Today and pick the C5 theme from the list.

That should do the trick for you. Let me know if it works...

I have only My Documents synch to my PDA. I have the unzipped files there, but where should the files be so that they are shown as a choice in Start-Settings-Today ... the Windows directory?

You are correct, place the unzipped folder in your windows directory and then go to the "settings" screen under your start menu, select "today" and it should be listed.

Hmmm, I must be doing something wrong. I put the files C5 Theme 1.tsk,C6 Theme 1.tsk, and C6 Theme 2.tsk in the Windows directory, but when I do as you have listed above they are not listed. Any suggestions?

Have you tried performing a soft reset (on iPaq there is an indented button that you use your stylus to press and hold for roughly 5 seconds). After this the iPaq will restart and you should have access to the themes. This is all I had to do to get the themes to work.

I had a little trouble, but finally unzipped the file and then filed it under pc my documents in the main folder.... not in the business, or personal, just directly in the main folder and it worked like a charm.
After this, I went to start, settings, then today and picked the theme from the list.
I hope you get it working. :cool

It works great. In fact, once you get it on one ipac, you can beam it directly to another ipac...
