I'm thinking of using something like that to cover my aluminum panels on my dash.

The instrument cluster, glovebox door perimeter, and the console are all stamped aluminum painted with Krylon Semi-Flat black. This is a stock midyear look. It looks something like leather I guess.

I don't know if anyone manufactures sheets of this stuff.

Painted metal...........as original on all midyears. (except maybe '63. I can't remember for sure )
