Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

Anyone looking for a Grand Sport project?

LOTS of $$ and engineering and fabrication skills required to bring that one to life (been there, done that), and it belongs on a Grand Sport tube frame, not a stock frame. Fun car when they're done, but it's a looooong road from that stage to finished. :eyerole

John you may have misunderstood this in the description

but a lot of the hard stuff has been started and/or finished.

It would be a real long road ahead.

Met this guy in Carlisle, he prefers to sell the body complete with his crappy frame. The body is not as wide ( about 2" missing ) then a regular Corvette Body, so nothing ( hood, surrond, top, etc. ) from the factory can be used.

The price is " get this " was 26,500$ bare :ugh

That's correct - the D&D GS body is the only one that's faithful to the original car; it's narrower than stock, the doors are 2" shorter, and the front and rear clips have 3" less overhang. The only production parts usable in the whole car are the door hinges and the windshield glass, just as the originals were.
