Just enough to make sure it is not a restamped engine, frame is good and no smoke blowing out the back. I have a bad disk in my back and cannot travel. I am going to make him an offer today so I will let you know.

did you ever run a CarFax on it via the VIN #?

That will tell ya some of the history if not all of it too.

I didn't think carfax went back that far, but maybe it will show the more recent history? The guy selling it seems pretty honest but you never know. Did you get the email I sent?

I sent you an email this morning, The guy said you could come look at it , the car is located at Coast automotive, you take I10 to I65 north exit at 1B, go west about 1mile on hwy 90 and its at the intersection of 90 and lakeside drive. The guy selling it Bubba Scott his cell is 251-454-3331. Sorry I sent you an email early this morning and an instant message with my phone #. The car is a 1971 LT-1 convertible. Let me know if you can look at it.

she wanted 15k for it.
It needed lots of love, and I wasnt in the mood for a project car, so I passed.

Thanks for taken the picks, My father had an old MG at one timebut he was 6'6" so he got rid of it because he looked stupid driven it his head was above the windshield. What did you think of the car?

cool - I too am over 6foot, but the MG was a cool car for highschool and college back in the late 80s.
Sold it off and picked up a 78 monte carlo with low miles for the rest of college.

anyhow, Car was fine. Sent ya a detailed PM via the CAC. Should be in your IN box now.
