anyone put on new bumpers

I just got my new fiberglass bumpers for 74. The rear bumper is split design. Do you pop rivit the two together? And do I use the old retainers or just use the new little ones?

the idea behind the split in the 74 was to make repairs cheaper(only need half) looked bad, they cancelled it for 75, most use the 75 to get rid of the look. mike
