Any experiences with this head porter?

Figured they were one of the pioneers...and I have heard good things about them...I couldn't go wrong...:)

Thanks

:)

I moved this to the C4 Technical forum in hopes of generating more response. Good luck in your search. :bu

Pete is local to me and certainly knows his stuff, at lot of people I know use him for rebuilding heads and mild porting, for all out race porting thou, their are better guys out there.

Springer's LT4,

you say there are better guys out there, I am curious you stated that? Do you mean better guys to deal with? or pguys that do better work?

No Go,

I have a Set of CNC ported L98 heads from them in my car. I don't have flow #'s or all the specifics since I bought them used, but I do know that I swapped from stock L98 heads to my CNC heads and went from a 13.8 to a 12.8 in the 1/4 without any ECM tuning

Guys that do better work on all out porting jobs... Pete is a great person to deal with, very smart in his area. If I wanted a nice porting job for a street car, I'd have no problems using him... if I wanted to get every last bit of power out of my heads, I'd look elsewhere.

Yeah I have to agree with you on that. If I wanted an all out race set-up/ heads i would look elsewhere too.

Hi there,
CNC cylinder heads are used by many aftermarket power tuners, including Callaway, on the C12 design supercar.
Extremely high quality, and impressive designs.

Thanks for the feedback.

I've pretty much decided to go with him. Seems quite knowledgeable and up front.

I would love to cut a second off my times, but I will be happy with a more realistic number...:)

Yeah I know the 1 sec is not a reasonable # the only other thing I can think of is the Weather was a bit cooler for my 12.80 run but I also think with the CNC heads I bumped the compression up a bit.

contact info

I tried finding this CNC cylinder heads place on the internet.

Can someone post info? I'd be very interested.
