Has anybody figured out what the Approach Light on/off in the options menu does? I have a 2001 with all options available and no matter if its on or off makes no difference. I thought it should shut off the Daylight Running Lights.

Nope, it has to do with when you unlock the doors with the keyfob, the reverse lights and the running lights come on untill you open the door. The only way to turn of the "drone" lights is pull a fuse, but I am not sure which one.

Hello,

The only way I know to get the running lamps to stop working is to pull the #2 fuse from the underhood fuse box. It's located on the passenger side. The only negative thing about this is the rear lights wont flash when the security alarm goes off. I hope the helps.
