ASR and Wheel Spin

Leave mine on most of the time, unless I am anticipating some action.......

At the strip I left it on once, accidently, my 60' was the lowest of the day....was doing about 2.1 and I think it went to about a 2.3+....I am not a very consistant driver, but clearly the ASR resulted the worst 60'...

Also had the experience of pulling out of a car wash and needing to accelerate moderately to merge into traffic.....should have been no big deal, but the wet tires started to spin a little and the ASR literally shut me down......

I went to the drag strip last Friday night. It rained, so the event was terminated. I was driving home in the rain on nearly bald drag radials. I hit a puddled area in the road at about 50-55MPH and the back end started skidding out. The active handling saved my butt. I know that is different than ASR, but I support the use of safety systems in ordinary driving.

I automatically shut mine off every time I start the car (habit)...like it much better that way! :bu

Be careful though cuz she can get away from you real quick (especially in the rain-which is about the only time I occasionally ;) leave it on).

ditto and it saves on the front pads, too.

i launch between 16-2k...depending on the strip and/or lane

i hate the left lane on the strip....personal mental eye cord. thing with the tree
