ASR usage

vee93 mentions something interesting... I'm not sure if others noticed this "feature" or maybe a flaw in the ASR... but i have found that is does not engage when i have fish tail action or find my vette sliding on a turn. I dont drive crazy... and I can always control it... but does the ASR ONLY prevent the wheels from spinning forward?

Should feel the throttle push back when you are fish tailing ( & maybe do some braking?)

On except for the times I wish to leave 'em weeping, grinning, or just plain ol' admiring.....

Have also had a couple of occasions where the ASR probably saved me some paint...both times when engaged in some overly aggressive acceleration on some rain-slickened streets.. That rear can come around in a heart beat.
