The vacuum line that activates my rear deck astro vent "doors" is completely corroded away. I was wondering if anyone knew of an aftermarket replacement for this metal line? Or can I replace it with rubber vacuum hose?
I didn't replace the whole line in my 69, but I had a few spots where the tubing was crunched and/or corroded. I cut out the bad sections ( 1-2 inch sections) and used rubber hose. I'd be reluctant to replace the entire tube with rubber hose, as I'd worry about it getting pinched somewhere along its' course. Chuck
