Anyone out there used Ate's PremiumOne slotted rotors?
I know Ate as the manufacturer of high-temp brake fluid which I use for track driving. A little research on the internet showed me that they are the OEM on Mercedes, BMW and other European cars, and that they are a division of Continental.
Anyway, when looking to get new rotors and pads, they came up on TireRack's website. They aren't particularly expensive ($38 for the fronts), and they are slotted with an interresting pattern. But the real advantage is that the slots are cut to the minimum thickness spec, so when you can't see the slots you know it's time to replace them.
Anyone tried them?
