ATF fluid change - how to lift car

I know I have to remove the "X" braces to get access to the trans pan,
my mechanic asked will this cause stresses on the body if he uses a frame
lift, or shouild he use a "drive on lift" that raises the car by the tires ?

It should not cause undue stress on the vehicle if you use a frame lift. Just be sure the lift pads are positioned correctly.
