Auburn INN

Called Auburn Inn this morning to check on rooms for the big event in May and they are all booked up......so where will everyone be staying, that does not have a room at the Auburn Inn? Is there going to be an alternate place for us to all stay at as a group?

I sent a copy of this thread to the CAC Auburn Committee. When Dawg and I were looking at making the trip back we found a couple other Motels very close to the Auburn Inn, hopefully we can get this information out to everyone shortly

Sounds like it's going to be a great time, with all the rooms at the Auburn Inn already booked

This is the first I've heard of this . I'll call the Auburn Inn in the morning . Remember , they're holding most of the rooms for us , so you MUST tell them your with the CAC group . They have a sister motel right beside the Auburn Inn and between the two there's about a hundred rooms . I doubt very much they're all taken . The Inn personel are supposed to direct our people to that motel if the Inn fills up . I'll follow up on this post in the morning . Cliff

You are probably right. I do not believe that I specifically asked for the CAC group. I just inquired about the Cruise-Fest in May and the person I spoke to replied that the INN was booked for that week-end. I should have pressed a little harder.

Ok , I talked to the desk clerk this morning as the manager had a family emergency and wasn't in . There are still rooms for rent at the Auburn Inn . You need to specify that you are with the Corvette Action Center . This clerk said she will pass it on , to be on the lookout for people in our group , that just ask for a room without identifying themselves as CAC people . When the manager calls me I'll go over it with her too . Cliff
