Anyone out there know of any financial institutions that make auto loans for "buying" and/or "refurbishing Corvettes, etc., other than your own personal financial institution? I've seen ads, I believe on the forum, but I don't remember. My own bank rejected my application over a year ago for what ever reason. I would like to either "refurbish" my '94 or replace it with a '94 or '95 ZR1 or a 2006 or 2007 C6. Thanks.

You have to be careful about those kinds of loans, the interest rate could eat you alive.
If you replace it and buy from a dealer check to see what they have available.

I tried the same thing about 30 years ago. i wanted to buy a trans am and fix it up. i was told that would be considered a small business loan. don't tell the bank why you want the money. if your car is paid for maybe you can use that for collateral.

If your credit is good you could just get a personal loan from a bank or credit union.
