I have a question about the speedo cable in my car
I am putting in Autometer gauges and the cable in my 76 is not the same the autometer needs one that screws on and in 76 the cable just pushed on to the speedo.
Was a 68 cable that type(screw on)
One more thing
Which Spedo gear do you think I would need now that I have a 4:11 and 235 60 15 size tires. Th350
my speedo is way out as you can imagine I used to have 3:08's

You should consider sending that one back and getting a fully electronic speedo with trans adapter.

Why.....? Because you can reprogram it anytime you want no matter what size tires or gear ratio, it is more acurate, no cables to make noise or get in the way, and it has a really cool feature where it sweeps when you turn the key on like a C5.

How do I know? That is what I put in my Shark.
