Autocross run videos

Very nice! I just looked at the last run. It looked pretty smooth. Do they always outline the course with the chalk lines? That isn't done locally.

Thanks for posting the videos, they were fun! Now I need to turn down my speakers and get back to work. :ugh

Where do they have those? Is that out at the old AFB? I think I recognized the water tower. Looks like a ton of fun, I'd like to try that sometime.

In your pictures, you do realize that your wheels are on the wrong sides? Not to be picky or anything.

-chalk lines? Not always. Sometimes it's done and sometimes not, depends on the weather, and if anyone wants to do it. In this case, it was a regional meet, so someone went that extra mile...

-There are tons of local SCCA groups all around that gather for these. My normal club does it around Wichita, but since this was a regional, it was hosted by Salina, and people came from all around.

-Yes, it was on an old runway (I think it was a base) on the east side of Salina. Very nice concrete.

-Backwards wheels. Yeah, it was like that when I bought it. I'm just waiting until I need new tires before fixing it. You should see how fast I can go backwards, though... :)

If you have ever wanted to Autocross, but weren't sure, check into it. It is so much fun, and it can be as cheap as you want it to be. Normally, for our club, it only costs about $20 to get 4 or 5 runs in. Best part is that you don't have to be a professional, and you can drive what you bring. You can even ride with others, if you just want to check it out before trying it. Gice it a shot, you'll love it.
