Automatic Seat adjustment

[Vette Virgin]

Since I have two settings for seating in my Vette, one for my Wife and I, why is it that only my wife's settings, or the #2 light, blinks when I get in the car? Especially when I do most of the driving in it?

Is something wrong here? I could consult my owners manual BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ONE WHEN I BOUGHT IT! But of course its coming in a couple of weeks and I'm just impatient.

Change keyfobs with your wife. The driver #1 or #2 is determined by what key fob approaches the vehicle

#1 or #2 is embosed in the back of the fob. i bought my wife a 03 and she had to tell me how to correct the same exact problem you are having. and she doesn't even know how to open the gas door!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

after reading some of your posts (nail scratches) i would have bet money you were female. vette virgin has a female gender sound
to it. read the book and watch the tape it will answer 99% of new car questions.

i did the same thing on my car. it kept going to #2 which is my fathers setting i switched keys and now its fine.

There are 3 settings and no 2. (the both buttons as the same time is the third)
since 2000 it is not Passive Keyless Entry but Active, I think to commutate the keys, on 2003, should not solve the problem....
