On my 1980 it goes from 3 to 2 way to easy. It appears the shifter needs to be replaced. Could be springs or what I'm thinking is just worn detent stops which I'm thinking I can replace or just file the worn spots and keep going. Any recommendations regarding going stock or best upgrade suggestions would be awesome. Thanks everyone for posting and talking about your cars. You're appreciated and a lot of help.
