Hey gang,
Just picked up an 84 coupe in nice mechanical shape but needs some cosmetics. I checked the Service Parts Identification Tag and it all seems to line up but I have a few questions.
It lists Option Codes B16, Special Option Package Processing and 1AZ, Modification Stock Order or Order Sold. However the car really doesn't seem to be optioned all that special, with standard leather, two tone paint and a 4 speed. Do these codes mean anything special other than like a customer order?
Also on the paint I'm a bit confused. The car is silver with grey bottom. There is the D84 two tone code, but three separate paint codes: 16L, Bright Silver Metallic Secondary, 16U, Bright Silver Metallic Exterior and 18M. It seems like it should have something like 16U and 18M shouldn't it?
