I've been really bad... I bought the Zaino a couple years ago (or more) for when I got the Blue Beast back from the paint shop. I've only washed her a few times over the last couple years, but no wax or polish.

Finally this past Sunday I spent the afternoon with her and used all Zaino products to wash, claybar and polish. I only had time for one round of Z5 then Z6. I also did buy the Z2 but haven't used it yet.

The results are fabulous. I took the attached pictures while the sun was setting on a cloudy day and the shine is still incredible!

Barb, I feel your excitement. Just did both of mine last week and the results are amazing. And I havent even gotten to the Z2 yet. :w

I wish I had nice paint to Zaino! Mine has solvent pops on all the edges.

Barb, If you are cruising in the area this evening (Friday), stop by the old Dominick's parking lot in Rolling Meadows on Kirchoff Rd next to the Taco Bell. It is a big Friday cruise in area. I will be there most of the evening.

Saturday night is Photos Hot Dogs at Wolf and Kensignton in Mt. Prospect.

Stop by if you get a chance... I'm the one next to the Medium Metalic Red '74 454 with side pipes!

Hi Dave, actually we have a birthday party at the neighbor's house tonite. I might be able to make Photos tomorrow though, I don't think we have any plans yet (depends on how hungover I am from tonite though! :L)

See ya,
Barb :w

That looks great! I feel like I could fall into your paint, the shine is bottomless.

No prob! Hope you had fun at the party. The cruise broke up at about 9 cause it got a little chilly, and the teenie boppers took over the parking lot with a little mini bike.

Hope to bump into you at Photo's Saturday... festivities get going there around 5:30-6PM.

Thanks Heidi. I feel so bad now that it took me so long to get it to look this way. I can't wait to see how it looks after more applications...

Dave, depending on weather I'm there...

Barb:

It will get better with each coat.......

I can't wait!

But now I'm wondering what is the best way to get any dust/bugs/etc... off the car before the next application without washing it again? It gets dusty just sitting in the garage (even with the car cover on it). I think I can just use the Z6 for that, right?

Dave, sorry I didn't make it last night. I got caught up doing yard work and then it got cloudy and looked like rain. Hopefully next time...

See ya,

Looking at that "454" badge on the hood took me back to the Ontario orange I owned......If I only knew then what I know now...:cry

And to think Barb, you were contemplating putting her up for adoption...;LOL

And we all know blue is the best color...;)

I haven't washed mine in months. I use meguire's quick detail spray to clean it up. Mine is covered in the garage too, and is does get a little dusty/dirty even with the cover on it. The Meguire's spray is cheaper than the Zaino spray and works just as good. I have some of the Zaino spray, but won't buy more when it's gone.
