2001 triple black convertible
Hey guys im new to corvette action and just recently bought an 01 c5 triple black convertible. I havent had one in 25 years and actually still own my 1970 convertible but its all apart and has been for a long time.i checked out another corvette site but didnt like it. When i went to this site i found answeres to some questions about my car. Ive been a ford lincoln mercury auto technician for 35 years so im familiar with old and new automotive technology, but have no late model corvette experience. So i'll be looking for some help i'm sure. Not sure if i should buy the shop manuals or not. So thats my story. looking forward to my renewed corvette experience, Bruce

6-Speed Stick Rules . . . . . . . Most of the time

its a 6 speed and im so impressed by the technology!!!

There is time in traffic that I catch myself wishing for an automatic but it doesn't last; half the fun of driving mine as far as I'm concerned is the shifting :_rock

Welcome to the CAC....good place to hang out. I would recommend you buy the manuels. Ebay is usually the cheapest but most the time they are pricey. They have them on CD's but I'm old school and like turning the oil and cheeto stained pages......:D

Tiriple black 6 speed! Right on! Welcome to CAC! Tons of good info and people here.

:welcome:w
