Hello, I have owned my 97 vette for about 4 monthes now and have been fixing all the little things I didnt like when I got it. The only thing left I want to repair is the back up lights... they work when the entry remote is used but not when in reverse. Has any one had a problem with theres...if so what was the fix and where is the switch located??? Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
Also has anyone installed a blower???? input would be great...
Thanks..

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center. I'm going to move your thread into the C5 Tech forum for greater exposure...

it is the reverse light switch mounted on the passenger side of the transmission that sits just in front of the rear axels

to get to it you really need jackstands or something to get under the car.

we had ours replaced on our 2000 and the bill was just under 100 bucks but if you do it yourself the piece (switch) costs about 20 bucks.

it just screws into the case and no fluid will come out when you remove the switch
