The right side mounting brackets of my radio scratched the console when I removed it. Is there anything (besides replacing the console) that will make it look better?

Hey neighbor,
If my memory is right your 92 is the "dark gray" colored console, correct?
I did this on my 90 about a year ago and I sanded it lightly and found a paint that matched so well I also repainted my ashtray door. Now you can't tell it.
I do have a new upper console piece(the peice that surrounds the radio and air controls) That I'd be willing to sell a neighbor real cheap.
Email me If you're interested and if not email me and I'll give you the name and code of the paint I used.

Hello Jackson!

The part that got scratched is not the plastic cover over the radio, but the softer foam part to the right of the radio. Any ideas?

oh I see now....I think the above post would work leather dye....If it were me I'd clean it real good with some alcohol and get some black shoe polish and hit it a lick.

Good luck with it
